Printed Peplum Kurta with Flared Palazzo

Design

• Peplum-style short kurta, fitted around the upper body and flaring from the waist.
• Full-length sleeves with a slightly relaxed fit.
• V-neck / rounded V neckline with contrasting printed panels.
• Waist is accentuated with a drawstring/tie-up detail.
• Multiple tassels/latkans hanging from the waist ties.
• Bottom is a very wide, flowing sharara/palazzo-style silhouette in solid rani pink.

Work & Embellishment

• Predominantly printed/embroidered-look traditional motifs rather than heavy zari work.
• Intricate floral, paisley and botanical motifs throughout the kurta.
• Contrasting geometric and floral panels around the neckline and bodice.
• Fine decorative borders around the peplum hem and sleeve edges.
• Small mirror/sequin-like accents appear within some motifs.
• Decorative cream/gold tassels at the waist add a handcrafted festive touch.

Pattern

The kurta uses a dense multicolour traditional Indian print, combining:

• Floral motifs
• Paisley/buta motifs
• Leaf and vine patterns

• Contrasting blue/green ornamental blocks

Bottom Details

The bottom is solid rani pink, extremely wide and gathered/pleated from the waist, creating a dramatic flowing silhouette. It resembles a sharara or very wide palazzo rather than a conventional straight salwar.
